Your data, in plain language.
This policy covers palmbeach.us, published by Generation Ad LLC. The short version: we collect very little, we sell nothing, and you can write to us about any of it.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe to Letters from Palm Beach, we collect your first name and email address, with your explicit consent, and use them only to send you the newsletter. Consent is never preselected, and every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful to answer you and to keep our records straight.
- Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and operations.
- Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google servers when a page renders.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site. If audience measurement tools are ever added, this policy will be updated to name them before they run.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to editorial@palmbeach.us with the subject line Privacy and we will answer within two business days. We honor these requests wherever you live.
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the rights to know, to delete and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we do not discriminate against anyone who exercises their rights.
This site is a publication about hospitality, property and culture and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us any, write to us and we will delete it.
When this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date. Material changes to how newsletter data is used will be announced to subscribers in the newsletter itself before they take effect.
