Palm House is the island's comeback story. The Royal Palm Way property sat closed for 17 years, through one of Palm Beach's longest and most publicized development sagas, before Iconic Luxury Hotels, the group behind Cliveden House and Chewton Glen in England, acquired it in 2019 and rebuilt it top to bottom.

It returned to service at the start of 2025 with 79 rooms and 21 suites around a courtyard pool and garden terrace, giving Royal Palm Way, the island's banker-lined avenue to the beach, a hotel again. For the island it closed a wound; for visitors it added a Midtown address between the Society of the Four Arts and the ocean.
