The Church Mouse is the most Palm Beach shop in Palm Beach, and the least expensive. Run by the Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea since the 1970s, it resells what the island donates, which on this island means designer clothing, silver, art and furniture arriving by the season.

The proceeds are the point: the shop provides most of the funding for the parish's outreach work. It opens Monday to Saturday, and its end-of-season sale is a date in the local calendar. For visitors it is the rare address here that rewards arriving early.
