The Vineta is the island's newest serious address and a European statement of intent: the first United States property of Oetker Hotels, the group behind Le Bristol in Paris and the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. It opened in early 2026 after a three-year rebuild of the former Chesterfield, a Mediterranean Revival building on Cocoanut Row that first opened in 1926 as the Lido-Venice.
The scale is deliberately intimate: 41 rooms and suites with interiors by Tino Zervudachi, a courtyard, the Coco's dining room and a small American Bar. Ownership sits with the Reuben Brothers, working with Oetker as operator.
