The Bath & Tennis is the oceanfront half of the island's club life. Joseph Urban, the Viennese architect who also gave Palm Beach the Paramount, designed it in 1926 on what is now South Ocean Boulevard, and the low Mediterranean building has held its stretch of sand ever since.
The club is private and closed to the public. It appears in this guide as one of the landmarks that shape the south end of the island, alongside the Everglades Club at the other end of the social map.
